Dear People,
In Uganda, we know how things have been done. We also have strong opinions about how things ought to be done, now and in the future. However, more often than not, we eventually discover that some of the methods we employ are not entirely legal.
And yet, what is legal is not always legitimate or acceptable to us. Is something right because it is legal, or legal because it is right? That is the question that The People’s Brief will provoke but not answer.
Here, in basic and accessible language, I share some legal knowledge that I think you should know, and discuss topical public interest law issues in Uganda, and occasionally beyond.
