Forever

In the beginning, I wished
Then I dreamt, I prayed
To God to bring you to me.
Then I waited, and waited
Then I waited, and waited
And waited, and waited.
And one day, it happened
I saw my wish, my dream
My prayer to God answered
Now, it’s no more waiting
I am counting, we’re counting
And we shall be the first
To count and tell time
